The persistent path for WebGL game save at itch.io is different in every build updates. Here’s how to solve it.
Game-Dev
This section includes blog entries of our game dev note, game devlogs, and anything gamedev related. The game engine we are using is Unity, and the programming language used is C#. We just started learning to make games with Unity a few months ago, so we are still pretty new in this area. The purpose of this blog is for us to document our programming and game-making journey.
Secret companions+ (DevLog #5)
A major update to Psycho Bathroom: Steam store page, secret companions, exclusive special move, high combo rewards, 1 new boss, point multiplier and more.
Improved Game Feel (DevLog #4)
More dramatic effects on player and HUD when hit by enemies. Added tutorial on new skills. Fixed weird wall sliding. Improved support for mouse and keyboard. Removed redundant UI in the PC version. (+ boring bud fixes)
More skills available! (DevLog #3)
Fixed all the bugs (that I know of) of dash and wall slide. Added double jump and restructured all the abilities scripts thanks to a new Unity course I took. Abilities can be bought in the shop scene. Improved UX and game feel.
Finished 2 Ending Cutscenes (DevLog #2)
Finally, finished a real game loop where the player can really beat the game. And then see the dumbfounding ending cutscenes.
Minimum viable game finished (DevLog #1)
#1 devlogs for our browser game Psycho-Bathroom. Progress:
Finished basic combat, health system, shop system, win / lose cutscene, level progression, ai of 5 enemies and 1 boss.
